Harvest Celebrations at Wold

Thank you for all your generous donations which produced this beautiful Harvest Display.
Members of the gardening club shared their gardening skills with us for Harvest.

Thank you to a very talented Grandad from class 1C for the beautiful Harvest bread sculpture.
Class 5CO prepared soup for the Harvest .
Mrs Rothery and her team sold the soup after school.

It tasted delicious!

F1 Phonics Song

In F1 we sing this song each day to help the children learn letter names and sounds, as well as capital and lower case letter shapes.  We use the jolly phonics actions for each letter.

New Build Update

Since the school's electricity has been turned back on and we are all functioning at full capacity, the building of the new school continues. Here are some photographic updates of the construction site.
All the remnants of the digging of the foundations. (above)
The builders are moving special moulds that will create the foundations.
The moulds will be lined up and concrete poured between them and then left to set.
 More of the moulds.
The site viewed from the main playground. The metal grids in the foreground are to help support the foundations of the building.

More updates to come...
