On Tuesday 16th June, Year 2 visited the Living Seas Centre at Flamborough. Apart from a small hiccup when our bus was late arriving, we had a wonderful time. The children took part in three workshops - Seabed Explorer, Seashore Safari and Waves of Waste. The workshops helped the children understand about the creatures that live in our seas and on our coasts. The children were a credit to school and really enjoyed the trip, we were really proud of them.
The staff at the Living Seas Centre were brilliant and really helped the children to understand the topics covered.
We are also, really grateful to the parents who came on the trip - without their support we wouldn't have been able to go on the trip.
If you fancy a day out when the warmer weather comes (which I am sure it will eventually) your children will be able to teach you all about the creatures to be found at Flamborough Beach.
