New House Captain Elections

Year 2 were very excited about voting in the House Captain elections this week. All the Year 5 candidates came into Year 2 and delivered their election speeches. They could all have given the current party leaders a run for their money as their speeches were amazing! On Friday afternoon each child received a ballot paper for their house team candidates and used this to cast their votes. All the children made sure their votes were done in secret and they folded their papers in half before handing them in. It gave the children a real taste of how the voting took place in the general election. We are now waiting for all the votes to be counted to find out who are new house captains are. All the candidates should be extremely proud of themselves for presenting themselves so brilliantly.
